World Family of Percussion Pack

Peter Giger, world famous master percussionist decided to celebrate the 30th aaniversary of "Family of Percussion" (FOP). He invited some fine percussionists around the world and named the new family "World Family of Percussion Pack" (WFOPP) and the new family toured in Germany in Sep. 2007 in the following cities: Dortmund, Aachen, Frankfurt and Cologne. The members of the family are:

Peter Giger (Switzerland) Tom Nicholas (USA) Ibou Ndiaye (Senegal) Ramesh Shotham (India) Christoph Haberer (Germany) Christopher Dell (Germany) Hermann Kock (Germany) Jonas Giger (Germany) Peyman Nasehpour (Iran)

Notice: Later Karthik Mani (India) was substituted, because Tom Nicolas was ill and not able to travel from the US to Germany.

Peter Magadini (a professional percussionist, drummer, author and teacher) has kindly dedicated the following book of his to me:

Polyrhythms, the Musician's Guide, Peter Magadini, edited by Wanda Sykes, 1993.

I found the book very useful. In 2007, Drum Magazine, reviewed his new DVD on "Jazz Drums". For more info refer to his website:
